The census of 1865 shows her as 72 years old.

Tore married Kristen Gulbrandsen Kjellegård, son of Gulbrand Brynhildsen Rom and Mari Kristensdatter Svinekle, after 1830. (Kristen Gulbrandsen Kjellegård was born in 1795 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 21 Jul 1869 in Haraldstadplass, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 29 Jul 1869.)

They were recorded as Christen Gulbrandsen og Thore Amundsdatter Onstad when their son Carl was confirmed in September 1851.

In the 1865 census they leased the Sand farm in Askim. Christen was 75 and Thore was 72 years old. With them were their daughter Maria, their son Andreas, and a fosterson Mathis Carlsen, 6 years old and born in Askim. ^{2 4}
