   Other names for Jørgen were Giellestad and Jørgen Tarralsen.

  General Notes:

Jørgen leased the Revaug farm in Askim 1797-98. He then moved to the Sando farm (under Nedre Rud), taking it over from the end of the 1790's. He had leased the Kvakkestad farm a couple of years before moving to øvre Sando. He was a cottager on Sando until into the 1800's, when he moved to Stenbølhytta. He farmed Stenbølhytta from about 1805 and lived there until he died in 1847. His wife died there in 1849.

He was 75 years old when he died.

Jørgen married Kristine Gudmundsdatter on 10 Apr 1794 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Kristine Gudmundsdatter was born circa 1772, died on 29 Sep 1849 in Stenbølhytta, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 6 Oct 1849.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1801 they were cottagers with land on the Rud Nedre farm in Askim. They were both 29 years old and both in their first marriage. Their two daughters were with them: Mari was 7 and Maria was 3. ⁵
