Frans Olsen Skjolden ^{1 2}

  General Notes:

In 1780 Frans took over the Sør-Skjolden farm from his parents for 1300 rdl. In 1803 Frans moved to søndre Ultvet in Eidsberg and sold Sør-Skjolden for 4000 rdl to Torer Olsen Hjelmark.

Frans married Tore Ingemundsdatter. (Tore Ingemundsdatter was born circa 1751 and died in 1831.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1801 the entire family was on the Sør-Skjolden farm in Askim. Frans was 53 and Thore was 50 years old, both in their first marriage. Three children, Jørgen, Halvor, and Christian, were unmarried. Their son Christen Fransen was newly married and living with his wife Dorthe Jørgensdatter and their son Ingemon Christensen. Their daughter Dorthe was there with her husband Hans and their two children. Their daughter Sissel was also there with her husband Hans and their two children.

Ammund Schiøpharsen was also there. He was the brother of the father of Dorthe's husband Hans Gundersen, unmarried, and 78 years old. ³
