In the census for 1900 she was a widow and owned the Maseng (bnr.2) farm in Askim. She had four unmarried children with her: Johan, Lina, Henrik, and Emil. 5


Tea married Hans Jakob Kristensen, son of Kristen Larsen Massengen and Anne Johannesdatter, on 27 Aug 1863 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Hans Jakob Kristensen was born on 8 Apr 1830 in Dallerud, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 25 Apr 1830 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 5 Jan 1899 in Maseng, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 14 Jan 1899 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

In the 1865 census they co-owned one (97b) of the Masengen farms in Askim with Hans' brother Syver. Their son Carl was with them. Their first son, Johan, was not listed and must have died previously. 6
