   Another name for Ragnhild was Ragnild Olsdatter.

  General Notes:

In 1865 she was on part of the Hoen farm (Honshytta?) in Askim with three of her children. She was a day labourer and 40 years old.

In 1900 she was widowed and living with her widowed son Johan on his Auten (bnr. 2) farm in Askim. She was called a pauper [fattiglem] and "Kapitalist".


Ragnhild married Johannes Knutsen, son of Knut Kristensen Grøner and Olea Olsdatter, on 6 Apr 1854 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Johannes Knutsen was born circa 1816, died on 15 Apr 1864 in Byfram u. Søndre Ilen, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 21 Apr 1864.)


  Marriage Notes:

When they married Johannes was 37 years old and from the nordre Ruud farm in Askim. His father was Knud Christensen. Ragnild was 26 and from the Auten farm in Askim. Her father was Ole Iversen. The best men at their marriage were Hans Toverud and Anders Galtebu.

When their son Johan was christened in May 1858 they were recorded as Johannes Knudsen og Ragnild Olsdr Maseng pl. 1
