Helene married Henrik Anton Nilsen Berg, son of Nils Nilsen and Unknown, on 1 Apr 1887 in Tomter church, Hobøl, Østfold, Norway. (Henrik Anton Nilsen Berg was born in 1858 in Hobøl, Østfold, Norway.)

They were living on the Berg farm in Hobøl when their daughter Dagny Halfrida was christened in 1892. ⁷

Helene next married Anton Julius Løken-Berg, son of Anders Hansen Løken and Inger Maria Olsdatter Vammeli, after 1893. (Anton Julius Løken-Berg was born on 10 Jul 1863 in vestre Løken, Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 13 Mar 1947 and was buried in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

In the census for 1900 Anton and Sofie Løken owned and farmed the Berg (Gnr 43, Bnr 1,2) farm in Hobøl. They had 5 children with them: Nils Antonsen Berg, Aagot Antonsdatter Berg, Dagny Antonsdatter Berg, Amanda Løken, and Anton Løken. Also with them was Anton's widowed mother, Inger Marie Løken.
