Erland took over the Busterud u. Tømmerås farm in Askim and farmed it in the 1790's.

  Research Notes:

He was 37 years old in the census for 1801.

Erland married Pernille Jensdatter. (Pernille Jensdatter was born circa 1763.)

  Marriage Notes:

Erland and Pernille were living on the Busterud farm in Askim when their daughter Inger was baptised in September 1793 and when their son Christian was baptised in 1796, the first Sunday after Easter.

In the census for 1801 Erland and Pernille were living on the Keiserud farm in Eidsberg. They were both in their first marriage and had two children with them: Inger (7 years old) and Ellen (3 years old). ²
