General Notes: He was 44 years old in the census for 1865. He was married with Maria Mikkelsen but his children were called his [Hans datter, Hans søn] so it is possible that he had a previous marriage to the mother of his children. Noted events in his life were: • He was a farmer and farm owner [Gaardb. og selv.] in 1865 in Elvenæs, Ibestad, Troms, Norway. Gregus married. Gregus next married Maria Mikkelsen. (Maria Mikkelsen was born circa 1827 in Filipstad, Värmlands län, Sweden.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1865 Gregus and Maria owned and farmed the Elvenæs farm in Ibestad, Troms. They had 3 daughters and 2 sons with them. 1 |
