In the census of 1865 she was 3 years old and living with her parents and siblings on the Skavogg farm in Askim.

Anne married Johan Henrik Hov, son of Karl Hansen Hov and Karen Kristiansdatter Gram, on 6 Jan 1887 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Johan Henrik Hov was born on 14 Aug 1855 in Hoff, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1913.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married Johan Henrik was a farmer's son from the Hoff farm in Askim. Anne Sofie was born on the Skavoug farm there. His father was Carl Hansen and her father was Svend Kristensen. The best men at their marriage were Theodor Hoel from Skavoug and Hans Arnt Kristensen from Hoff.

They were living on the Myrvold farm in Askim in February 1892.

In the census for 1900 the family was living on Hofgaard in Askim. There were 2 sons and 2 daughters: Sverre, Kolbjørn, Klara, and Anna.
