   Cause of his death was heart attack.

   Other names for Jens were Jens Torvald, Jens Thorvald Auten and Jens Henriksen Authen.

  General Notes:

Jens took over the vestre Auten (bnr. 4) farm in Askim in 1925 for 12 667 kr. He sold it in 1932 for 23 000 kr. but held onto a piece of forest where he set up a home and workshop.

He called himself Jens Authen.

  Medical Notes:

He died out on a ski trip not far from his home.

  Noted events in his life were:

• He was a blacksmith but also worked as a mason, carpenter and mechanic.


Jens married Tilla Kristensen, daughter of Thorvald Christensen and Thea Karoline Kristensdatter. (Tilla Kristensen was born on 3 Feb 1895 in Søndre Auten, Askim, Østfold, Norway 4 and died in 1982 in Edwin Ruuds Hospital, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway 6.)
