Nord-Skjørten in Askim from his father for 300 rdl. Lars married Dorte Hansdatter, daughter of Hans and Unknown, on 15 Oct 1792 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Dorte Hansdatter was born circa 1766 and died in 1817.)   Marriage Notes: In 1801 they were living on the Nord-Skjørten farm in Askim. Lars was 40 and Dorthe was 34 years old. "Bruger jord og noget tillagt af gaarden". Two of Dorthe's sister's children were with them, Hans Gundersen (14) and Christian Gundersen (8). "Betales for af sorenskriveren". 4 Lars next married Berte Nilsdatter on 27 Mar 1817 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.2
