Eli was the eldest daughter.

Eli married Ole Mattisen in 1797. (Ole Mattisen was born circa 1769, died on 23 Feb 1851 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 4 Mar 1851 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1797, just after they married, they took over the Søndre Vammeli bnr. 2 farm in Askim after Eli's step-parents.

In 1801 they were on Søndre Vammeli. Ole was 32 and Eli was 27 years old. Both were in their first marriage. With them were their son Johannes (3 years old), and Eli's step-sister Inger Johannesdatter (16). ³
