   Other names for Povel were Poul and Paul Olsen.

  General Notes:

Povel owned the Mørkved Store farm in Askim. He sold it to his brother-in-law Mathias Olsen on 13 June 1785. Before 1801 he had bought it back. The census of 1801 shows him as 44 years old.

Povel died as a pensioner on Mørkved.

  Medical Notes:

He was 74 years old when he died in 1828. This would make the year of his birth ca 1754.

Povel married Anne Hansdatter. (Anne Hansdatter was born circa 1758, died on 21 Jan 1829 in Mørkved, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 29 Jan 1829 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)
