  Research Notes:

Petrine's parents were not married at the time of her christening.

In the census for 1865 Petrine Pedersdatter was 16 years old and living with her parents and siblings on the Tangen nedre farm in Trøgstad. ⁴

Petrine married Laurits Toresen, son of Thorer Paulsen and Sofie Gulbrandsdatter. (Laurits Toresen was born in 1852 in Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway ⁵ and died in 1928.)

  Marriage Notes:

They were living on Fuskplads in Askim in February 1895.

In the census for 1900 they were cottagers with land on the Engen (under Eidareng) farm in Askim. With them were two daughters, a son, and a grandchild: Karoline, Hanna, Hans, and Ragna Johanne (their daughter Thea's daughter).

They were living on the Øiestad farm in Trøgstad in October 1907 when their son Hans was confirmed. ^{2 5 6}
