Marta married Hans Kristiansen Trosterud, son of Kristian Johannesen and Kristine Jensdatter, on 28 Aug 1862 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Hans Kristiansen Trosterud was born on 18 Jul 1826 in Trosterud, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was christened on 23 Jul 1826 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

Hans was from the Trosterud farm in Askim. He farmed there in the early 1860's.

Hans and Marta farmed the nordre Laholmen farm until about 1877. They then moved to the Nybråten farm. They moved to the Kløverud farm in the mid 1880's.

In the census for 1900 they were cottagers with land on the Kløverud farm in Askim. They had two daughters and a son with them: Johanne, Karoline, and Karl. ³
