  General Notes:

Emil and his brother Bernhard farmed the Mellom-Grøttvet farm in Askim after their parents from the beginning of the 1880's.

In the census for 1900 he owned and farmed the Grøtvedt mellem farm in Askim. He was unmarried. His widowed father lived with him as well as three servants.

When he died he was living on Borgestad u. Grøtvedt.
