He was a farmer on the Lier farm in Askim in 1850 when his daughter Anne Marthea was born. He later moved to Christiania.

He was 46 years old in the census for 1865.

He is possibly the eldest son of Anders Olsen Langnes and Larine Halvorsdatter.

Ole married Gunnild Pedersdatter, daughter of Peder Klemmetsen Ilen and Maria Gøthesdatter. (Gunnild Pedersdatter was born on 14 Mar 1812 in Skavoug, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was christened on 22 Mar 1812 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

Ole and Gunhild lived on the Kløfta (under Søndre Rom) farm in Askim in 1856. They moved to Grini in Spydeberg in 1863.

In the census for 1865 they were living on the Grini søndre Del farm in Spydeberg. The farm was owned by Hans Halvorsen from Spydeberg (61 years old) and Petronelle Gundersdatter from Askim (51). Ole and Gunild had 3 daughters with them: A. Mathea (16), Julie (13), and Anne Helene (10). 3
