He appears to have co-owned the Gievig farm in Enebach [2dn bonde og gaardb.]. He was 86 years old in the census for 1801.

Aksel married Anne Thorsdatter. (Anne Thorsdatter was born circa 1735.)

In 1801 they lived on the "Gievig" farm in Enebach. Axel was 86 and Anne was 66 years old. Both were in their first marriage. Their 24 year old son John (unmarried) was with them as was their son's 15 year old fosterson, Peder Poulsen. ²
