Maren married Johan Johannesen Trippestad, son of Johannes Andreassen Trippestad and Maren Mathiasdatter, in 1891 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Johan Johannesen Trippestad was born on 4 Jul 1863 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 13 May 1912 in Korsegården, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 22 May 1912.) The cause of his death was Tuberculosis. Marriage Notes: In the census for 1900 they owned the sawmill on Granum in Askim. Their three sons and two daughters at the time with them. There was also Johan's brother, Thorvald Trippestad, living there, a joiner born in 1867 in Askim. |
