  General Notes:

Andreas Olsen bought Nedre Gudim on 30 Nov 1831 for 800 Spdlr. He owned Ruud near Kykkelsrud, Olberg and one of the Løken farms, so he was well equipped with properties.

Andreas Olsen stayed with the Nedre Gudim farm until 1857 when he sold it to his son, Mathis Andreassen.

He bought the Nordre Løken farm in 1852 for 2000 spdl. He also leased a part of øvre Rud 1818-22, Ødegården 1823-ca 1827, øvre Rud (bnr. 2) ca 1827-29, and bought nedre Gudim in about 1830.

His son-in-law, Johannes Kristiansen, took over the Nordre Løken farm when he died. 6 7

Andreas next married Anne Larsdatter Laholmen, daughter of Lars Tronsen Laholmen and Kari Brynhildsdatter, on 19 Sep 1818 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Anne Larsdatter Laholmen was born in 1798 in Laholmen, Prestegården, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 6 May 1798 in Askim, Østfold, Norway,1 8 died on 22 Jul 1866 in Nordre Løken, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 31 Jul 1866.)


  Marriage Notes:

In 1865 they owned and farmed one (86a1) of the Løken nordre farms in Askim. Andreas was 74 and Anne was 68 years old. They had their unmarried son Theodor with them and their daughter Maren and her family. 9
