  General Notes:

Ole was from the Sekkelsten farm in Askim. He farmed Langnes until 1780, when he and Kirsti moved to the Massengen farm. He turned over Langnes to Kirsti's son from her first marriage, Ole Olsen.

Ole and Kirsti bought the Massengen farm from Syver Olsen Moen in 1780 for 690 rdl. In 1793 Ole sold half of the farm to his son, Anders Olsen, for 393 rdl. Two years later Anders got the other half of the farm for 690 rdl.

When he died his age was recorded as 80 years 1 month 1 week and 4 days.


Ole married Kirsti Andersdatter Dramstad on 5 Apr 1764 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Kirsti Andersdatter Dramstad was born circa 1726, died in 1806 in Massengen, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 12 Oct 1806 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

In 1801 they were both 75 years old and living on the Massengen farm. Ole was in his first marriage and Kirsti was in her third. 5
