   Another name for Mari was Mari Christensdatter Svinhegle.

She was a widow in 1807 when she sold the nedre Gurud farm and moved to Svinekleplassen Sundby, where her youngest chid had been confirmed.

  Medical Notes:

The Ministerialbok states that she was 83 years old when she died. This would make her year of birth ca 1770.

Mari married Gulbrand Brynhildsen Rom, son of Brynild Syversen Dynjan/Rom Nordre and Kirsti Enersdatter Fjeld Nordre, on 29 Oct 1794 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Gulbrand Brynhildsen Rom was born in 1749, died in 1805 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 18 Dec 1805 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1801 the family was on the Rud nedre farm in Askim. Gulbrand was 52 and Mari was 28 years old, both in their first marriage. Their three sons were with them.
