General Notes:
Frans bought the Revaug farm in 1797 for 1 600 rdl. In 1800 he sold the farm and moved to Fossum (bnr. 1) which he had bought for 1500 rdl. In April 1802 he sold Fossum, bnr. 1, for 1599 rdl.
Frans married Gunhild Brynhildsdatter Rom, daughter of Brynild Syversen Dynjan/Rom Nordre and Kirsti Enersdatter Fjeld Nordre, on 30 Jan 1797 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Gunhild Brynhildsdatter Rom was born in 1766.)

In 1801 they were on the Fossum farm in Askim. He was 25 and she was 33 years old, both in their first marriage. Their daughter Marthe was 3 years old. 4
