Karoline married Hans Jakob Westbye, son of Christen Hansen Westbye and Anna Maria Jensdatter Oraug. (Hans Jakob Westbye was born on 15 Feb 1845 in Vestby, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 24 Mar 1845 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died on 9 Oct 1907.)


  Marriage Notes:

They were living on Aaser in Askim in June 1881, in November 1884 and in October 1889.

In the census for 1900 they owned and farmed the Storerud farm in Askim. Their three younger children were with them: Olaf Kr Lund Westbye, Helga, and Otar. There was also a farmhand, a house servant, and a cattlewoman living on the farm. 5 6 9
