Maria married Erik Hansen Lier Nordre, son of Hans Fransen Hol and Berte Torsdatter, on 18 Mar 1788 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Erik Hansen Lier Nordre was born in 1758 and died in 1815 in Gutu, Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

Erik and Maria farmed the Hauger farm in Askim until the mid 1790's. Later they were on Flatmark and were cottagers on Knebret from about 1808 until 1815.

In 1801 they were cottagers on Rud Søndre. He was 42 and she was 36 years old, both in their first marriage. They had four children with them: Ingebor (12), Marthe (7), Hans (4), and Thor (2). 7
