Kristen married Helene Mattisdatter, daughter of Mattis Aslaksen Kykkelsrud and Kari Olsdatter Kykkelsrud. (Helene Mattisdatter was born in 1793 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1865 they owned and farmed the Solberg nordre farm in Skiptvet. They had three sons and two fosterchildren with them. The sons were helping with the farmwork. 3
