Another name for Anders was Anders Langnes. General Notes: In 1793 Anders bought half the Massengen farm from his father for 393 rdl. Two years later he bought the other half for 690 rdl. Medical Notes: He was recorded as 81 years old when he died so he was possibly born in 1763. Anders married Maria Gulbrandsdatter. (Maria Gulbrandsdatter was born in Aug 1768, died in 1807 in Maseng, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 6 Sep 1807 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: In 1801 the family was on the Massengen farm in Askim. Anders was 37 and Maria was 33 years old. Both were in their first marriage. Their two children, Ingebor (4) and Hans (1) were with them. Anders parents, both 75 years old, were also there. 7 Anders next married Gunhild Syversdatter, daughter of Syver Smedsen and Johanne Gulbrandsdatter, on 19 Oct 1809 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Gunhild Syversdatter was born on 7 Jun 1784, died on 4 May 1877 in Maseng, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 15 May 1877.) |
