The 1865 census shows her as 22 years old, living on the store Torp farm in Askim with her parents and her younger brother Martin.

The 1900 census shows her year of birth as 1834. By 1900 she was a widow, still living on the store Torp farm but pensioned. The owners of the farm by then appear to be Thorvald and Julie Larsen (unmarried, possibly siblings).
