Oskar married Johanne Guderud, daughter of Ole Petter Iversen Guderud and Pauline Johannesdatter Hoel, in 1929. (Johanne Guderud was born on 4 Jun 1898 in Guderud, Askim, Østfold, Norway 5 7, christened on 10 Jul 1898 and died in 1972.)
