General Notes:
Anton Gudim bought the Gudim Nedre farm in Askim from his father in 1886. He sold it iin 1915 to Anton C. Løken. Anton had bought the Gudim Øvre farm for 15 600 kroner when his parents died.
Anton married Johanne Lovise Torkelsrud, daughter of Niels Christiansen and Anne Kirstine Hansdatter. (Johanne Lovise Torkelsrud was born in 1860 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway.)
Marriage Notes:
In the census for 1900 they owned and farmed the Gudim nedre (bnr. 1) farm in Askim. They had their two daughters and four sons with them. There were also two servants and a Swedish family.
They were living on Gudim in October 1915. 6
