In the census for 1865 they owned and farmed the Kurøen farm in Rødenæs. With them were two daughters, a son, Anders' widowed father, and Ingeborg's sister, Berthe Guldbrandsdatter. Berthe managed the household, was 32 years old at that time and was born in Eidsberg. ¹
