When Anders died in 1833 the Hobøl farm in Askim was divided between his widow Marthe Hansdatter and their eldest son Christen Andersen.

On 09 January 1843 Marthe issued the deed to her interest in the farm to her son John Andersen for 650 spdlr and a pension on the farm.

Marthe married Anders Knudsen Hobbel on 7 Jan 1808 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Anders Knudsen Hobbel was born circa 1767, died on 13 Mar 1833 in Hobøl, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 21 Mar 1833 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)
