There was an Eric Baardsen, 72 years old and widowed, who lived on the Aaser farm in Trøgstad in the census for 1801. That might be Birthe's father.

Birthe married Halvor Torchildsen Haslerud, son of Torkild Halvorsen Lund and Lisbeth Thorsdatter. (Halvor Torchildsen Haslerud was born in 1752 in Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1801 they lived on and farmed part of the Haslerud farm in Trøgstad. Halvor was in his second marriage and Berte was in her first. They had the following children with them:
Halvor Halvorsen, 20 years old;
Torer Halvorsen, 16;
Hans Halvorsen, 14;
Margrete Halvorsdatter, 14;
Tore Halvorsdatter, 12;
Amun Halvorsen, 9;
Ole Halvorsen, 6;
Eli Halvorsdatter, 2.

It is not clear if any of the older children were from Halvor's first marriage. ²
