Kristian married Anne Mathea Torsdatter Tømt, daughter of Tor Nilsen Tømt and Inger Maria Kristensdatter Kverne, on 19 Dec 1898 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Anne Mathea Torsdatter Tømt was born on 1 Dec 1852 in Tømt, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 26 Dec 1852 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1947.)


  Marriage Notes:

When Bernhard married Anne Mathea he moved to her Sør-Skjolden farm. They farmed Sør-Skjolden until 1910.

In the census for 1900 they were living on the Skjolden (gnr.84, bnr.1) farm in Askim. All of her daughters from her previous marriage were with them except the oldest, Ragnhild. 6
