Erik Andersen Hobøl 2 3 4 5 6
Another name for Erik was Erich Andersen Hobbel. General Notes: Erich took over the Heia under Hobøl farm in Askim after his father. He is described as his father's only heir, implying that Erich's sisters all died before their father. Research Notes: The 1801 census shows Erich as 3 years old. Medical Notes: Erich was 71 years old when he died. Erik married Anne Margrethe Syversdatter Lier Søndre, daughter of Syver Gundersen Lier Søndre and Tore Akselsdatter Gjevik, on 23 Sep 1819 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Anne Margrethe Syversdatter Lier Søndre was born in 1798 in Kvakkestad, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 18 Mar 1798 and died on 15 Dec 1845.) Marriage Notes: When they married it was recorded that Erik was 22 years old and Anne Margrethe was 21. Erik next married Maria Johannesdatter Gudderud Plads, daughter of Johannes Olsen and Berte Jensdatter, on 20 Jan 1848 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.2 (Maria Johannesdatter Gudderud Plads was born in 1795 in Haraldstad, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1853.) Marriage Notes: When they married Erik was a 51 year old widower from the Hobbel farm in Askim. Maria was a 52 year old widow from Gudderud plads. Their best men were Christen Hobbel and Ole Frantzen øvre Ruud. Maria's father was recorded as Johannes Larsen which must be an error (other sources confirm him to be Johannes Olsen). 2 Erik next married Lena Nilsdatter Ihlen Nordre, daughter of Nils Olsen Ilen and Kari Larsdatter, on 24 Nov 1855 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.2 (Lena Nilsdatter Ihlen Nordre was born on 26 Mar 1823 in nordre Ilen, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 31 Mar 1823 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 22 Mar 1870 in Hobøl, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 31 Mar 1870 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: When they married in 1855 Erich was a 59 year old widower and Lena was 33. The best men at their marriage were Jon and Iver Hobbel. |
