Another name for Ole was Ole Andersøn Nedre Ruud. General Notes: During the period 1758-60 Ole had leased the Nord-Vete farm in Eidsberg. He took over the nedre Rud farm (søndre delen) when his father died in 1766. In 1782 he turned the farm over to his sons Tor and Ole. He kept the right to farm Sando, and he possibly lived there a short while before he moved to his daughter on the Langnes farm. Ole married Eli Torsdatter on 13 Oct 1757 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Eli Torsdatter died before 1801.) |
