General Notes: Andreas was from Eidsberg. He was a farm owner in Herland and bought the nedre Oraug farm in Askim in 1886 from his son-in-law, Jens Petter Larsen. In 1895 he sold the farm. Andreas married Maren Ingebretsdatter Høie, daughter of Ingebret Christensen Høie and Anne Hansdatter Nord-Mysen. (Maren Ingebretsdatter Høie was born on 20 Oct 1818 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway and died in 1910.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1865 Andreas and Maren farmed and owned the Krogstad farm in Eidsberg. He was 52 and she was 48 years old. They had 5 daughters and a son with them. There were also three servants with them on the farm. 3 |
