Halvorine married Julius Guttormsen, son of Guttorm Olsen and Kirstine Christensdatter. (Julius Guttormsen was born on 15 Oct 1840 in Næs, Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway, christened on 29 Nov 1840 in Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway and died in 1921.)

In December 1889 they appear to be on the Hovin(?) or Havnen farm in Østre Aker, Akershus.

In the census for 1900 Julius and Halvorine Guttormsen owned and farmed the Skjolden (gnr.83, bnr.2) farm in Askim. With them were their two children and Julius' brother, Karl Guttormsen, as well as ten other people on the farm, mostly stoneworkers. ^{5 6}
