Henry married Maria of Germany Hohenstaufens, daughter of Philip of Swabia Hohenstaufen and Irene of Byzantium, on 9 Feb 1207. (Maria of Germany Hohenstaufens was born in 1201 and died in 1235.)

Henry next married Sophie von Thuringe, daughter of Ludwig IV von Thuringia and Saint Elisabeth of Hungary, after 1239. (Sophie von Thuringe was born in 1224 and died in 1275.)
