From 1274 to 1284 she ruled Navarre and the counties of Brie, Champagne, Troyes et Meaux for her daughter, Joan I of Navarre (ruled 1274 - 1305).

Blanche married Henry I the Fat of Navarre, son of Theobald I of Navarre and Margaret de Bourbon, in 1269. (Henry I the Fat of Navarre died on 22 Jul 1274 in Pamplona, Navarre.)

Blanche next married Edmund Crouchback Leicester Plantagenet, son of Henry III of England and Eleanor of Provence Berenger, before 3 Feb 1276 in Paris, France. (Edmund Crouchback Leicester Plantagenet was born on 16 Jan 1245 in London, England and died on 5 Jun 1296 in Bayonne, Bearn, France.)
