Infanta Sancha of Castile was the third child and the eldest daughter of King Alfonso VII of Castile. Her mother was Richeza of Poland.

Sancha married Alphonso II the Chaste of Aragón, son of Raymond IV the Saint Berengar and Petronilla of Aragon Ramirez, on 18 Jan 1174 in Saragosa.¹ (Alphonso II the Chaste of Aragón was born in May 1152 and died on 25 Apr 1196.)
