General Notes: 2nd heir to the Stuart throne of Britain, from whom descends the present day Stuart claimant to the British throne. Anna married Victor Amadeus II of Sardinia de Savoie, son of Carlo Emanuele II di Savoia and Marie Jean Baptiste de Savoie-Nemours, on 10 Apr 1684 in Chambery. (Victor Amadeus II of Sardinia de Savoie was born on 14 May 1666 in Italy and died on 31 Oct 1732.) |
