Robert the Wise, son of King Charles II of Naples the Lame, was Duke of Calabria (1296-1309), King of Naples and (nominal) Jerusalem and Sicily, and Count of Provence and Forcalquier (1309-1343). Noted events in his life were: • He was a King of Naples. Robert married Yolanda of Aragón, daughter of Pedro III the Great of Aragón and Constance of Sicily Hohenstaufens. |
