Cause of her death was possibly childbirth. Another name for Anne was Lady Anne Mortimer. Research Notes: Her date of birth is also reported as 27 December 1390. Anne married Richard of Conisburgh Plantagenet, son of Edmund of Langley Plantagenet and Isabella of Castile, in May 1406. (Richard of Conisburgh Plantagenet was born circa 1375 in Conisburgh Castle, Yorkshire, England and died on 5 Aug 1415 in Southampton Green, Hampshire, England.) The cause of his death was Beheaded for conspiring against Henry IV. Marriage Notes: Richard and Anne married by Papal dispensation dated 28 May 1408. |
