Brun of Saxony ¹

Brun (Latin Bruno) was the elder son of Liudolf, Duke of Saxony. He died, along with several other Saxon noblemen, in a battle against the Normans. Nothing is known about his life.

According to legend, Brun is the founder of Brunswick and ancestor of the Brunones, counts of Brunswick.
