Thomas married Joan "The Fair Maid of Kent" Plantagenet, daughter of Edmund of Woodstock Plantagenet and Margaret of Liddell Wake, between 1339 and 1340. (Joan "The Fair Maid of Kent" Plantagenet was born on 29 Sep 1328, died on 8 Aug 1385 in Wallingford Castle, Berkshire, England and was buried in Greyfriars Church, Stamford, Lincoln.)
