William married Maud Plantagenet, daughter of Henry Grosmont of Derby Plantagenet and Isabel de Beaumont, in 1352 in Kings Chapel, Palace of Westminster. (Maud Plantagenet was born on 4 Apr 1339 and died on 10 Apr 1362 in England.) The cause of her death was the black death. |
