  General Notes:

Beatrice of Burgundy was Lady of Bourbon and, through her mother, heiress of all Bourbon estates. She was the daughter of John of Burgundy (son of Hugh IV, Duke of Burgundy) and Agnes of Dampierre. In 1272 Beatrice married Robert, Count of Clermont and their eldest son Louis I, became the first Duke of Bourbon.

Beatrix married Robert de Clermont, son of Louis IX of France Capet and Marguerite of Provence Berenger, in 1271 in Clermont, France. (Robert de Clermont was born in 1256 and died on 7 Feb 1317.)
