  General Notes:

In 1865 Elen and her three children were on the Åsrud place in Askim. She was listed as a 62 year old widow then. The children were: Johan Christiansen (30), Johannes Christiansen (25), and Anna M. Christiansdatter (16).

Also there in 1865 was Ove Albert Hansen, 6 years old, "hendes Pleiesøn (pleies for Faderens Regning)".

Her year of birth is also recorded as 1810 but was recorded as 1808 when she died.

Elen married Kristian Johansen. (Kristian Johansen was born circa 1798, died on 1 Dec 1860 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 8 Dec 1860.)

  Marriage Notes:

Christian and Elen had a stillborn son on 12 Oct 1840. They were on Skavoug in Askim at that time. ⁴
