In 1865 the family was on the Årnes (u. Nord-Skjørten) farm in Askim. Anne was 53 and Johannes was 46. There were four children with them then: Ragnild was 27, Anton (15), Lena (12), and Martin (9). ³

The census lists her place of birth as Askim.

Anne married Johannes Mattisen. (Johannes Mattisen was born circa 1819 in Rakkestad, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

They were on Skjørten when they married. They lived on Jaeren when they had their first child.

In 1841 Johannes and Anne Sofie were cottagers on the Veiby u. Moen farm in Askim. Later they were cottagers on Onstadplass.

Johannes farmed the Årnes under nordre Skjørten farm in Askim from the mid 1840's until the end of the 1860's. In 1869 he moved to the Busterud u. Tømmerås farm and farmed it until until 1874. Earlier the family had been on Jaeren and Onstadplass.
